  • Are you insured and licensed?
    Absolutely. We carry general liability and workers compensation insurance, and we are an LLC incorporated in South Carolina. This is incredibly important for you. Confirm with your lawyer because we're not lawyers - but we believe that having an uninsured cleaner going through your property is very risky.
  • How are you so affordable yet so quality driven?
    We are highly efficient, focused and systematic. So, we do more for less. Plus, as a fast growing cleaning company, we have the volume of work to spread our costs over hundreds of clean. For you, that means better pricing and 5-star quality.
  • Do you clean on weekends and holidays?
    We clean 7 days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays, which are usually our busiest days. We clean every day of the year, except Easter Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
  • Are you based in Charleston?
    Yes! We are proud to be locally owned and based in James Island. Charleston love :-)
  • Do you do deep cleans?
    Yes, we offer deep cleans of both vacation rentals and offices. Just let us know what you need and we'll be there for you.
  • Do you do one-time cleans?
    No, we only take on clients who sign up for re-occuring vacation rental or office cleaning services with Purple Dot.
  • How do I pay Purple Dot Cleaning?
    You can pay via Venmo, PayPal, check or ACH wire. Depending on your needs and what works best for all, we either bill you at the end of each clean or every two weeks.
  • Do you provide cleaning supplies?
    Yes, we provide cleaning supplies. We also carry our own equipment (e.g. vacuums, rags, brooms, etc).
  • Can you clean with green products?
    Yes. We can clean with either conventional cleaning products (e.g. Windex, Lysol, etc) or green products (e.g. cleaning vinegar, Simple Green, etc). You decide.
  • How do I hire Purple Dot to clean my commercial property?
    Submit this form to request a free quote and introduce yourself. Then, we'll call you to get to know you and have an initial conversation. Based on this initial conversation, if you and us believe the fit may be right we'll set up an in-person walk through of your property. We'll then provide you with a final quote and get ready to start as soon as you give us the go.

  • Can Purple Dot Cleaning re-stock bathroom supplies?
    Absolutely. In addition to cleaning your property we offer numerous facilities management services, including re-stocking of bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, urinal screens, etc.
  • How do I hire Purple Dot to clean my vacation rental?

  • Do you take on every vacation rental client?
    No. The demand for excellent vacation rentals is huge, and we have a set capacity on how many properties we can take on. Additinaly, fit is extremely important for us. Just as we want our clients to feel great about working with Purple Dot Cleaning, we want to feel great about the clients we work with. When you submit our form to request a free quote and introduce yourself it will start our introductory process during which you'll get to know us and vice-versa.
  • Where can I find reviews and pictures of your vacation rental cleanings?

  • Can you provide linens (e.g. towels, sheets, etc)?"
    Yes. Either we provide linens or you do. You decide what's best for you.
  • Can you restock essentials (e.g. soap, toilet paper, dish soap, etc)?"
    Yes, we can restock any essential that you offer guests in your vacation rental. You have three restocking choices: 1. You restock everything yourself. 2. We restock with supplies you leave us at the vacation rental. 3. We restock with supplies we purchase. You decide, we're flexible.
  • How much lead time do you need to schedule a vacation rental cleaning?
    The more lead time the better. With that said, we understand that last minute bookings come in. So, as long as you give us at least 12 hours notice, we can schedule it.
  • Can you provide handyman services?
    Yes. We have wonderful handymen who can perform services such as unclogging toilets, tightening screws, stopping leaks and changing air filters. We can schedule our handymen to go into your property either during or between guest stays. Hiring us for your handyman services makes a lot of sense. As cleaners we come to know your house better than anybody except for you. We can ensure everything is perfectly coordinated with the cleaners and guests. Plus, our handyman services are very affordable.
  • How do I hire Purple Dot for facilities management services?

  • What product brands do you use to re-stock my bathrooms?
    We generally use top-brand brands like Scott, Kimberly-Clark, and Tork. With that said, unlike the big box companies that force you to use their own products, we're flexible and can source whatever brands you would like.
  • How often do you come to my property to stock restroom supplies?
    It depends on your needs, we're flexible. Some clients with high traffic properties, for example gyms and restaurants, require daily stocking of restroom supplies. Others with less traffic may only require weekly or even monthly stocking. When you contact us for a quote we talk about your facilities management needs and design a plan specific to your property.
